Purnamadah

This past weekend at Dr. Sue Morter’s Ignite event, we did an exercise singing alleluia over and over. When we finished I had the felt sensation of feeling fuller that full and that every cell was at peace. That feeling reminded me of Purnamadah from the Isha Upanishad (thanks Julie Wilkerson for showing me this teaching).

✨ Resonance of Purnamadah with the Energy Codes

1. "That is full; this is full."

In Purnamadah, “that” refers to the unmanifest Source, the divine beyond form, while “this” refers to the manifest world—the body, the earth, your life experience. Both are declared equally full, whole, and complete. There is no division between spirit and matter.

The Soulful Self is already whole. Our physical lives are not separate from our divine essence. The healing journey is not about fixing what is broken but revealing what has always been complete within.

2. "From the full, the full emerges."

All of creation arises from wholeness, not from emptiness or lack. The universe is not the result of a wound. It is the overflowing generosity of the infinite. The visible emerges from the invisible, without diminishing it.

Life arises from wholeness, not wounding. We are not defined by our past or our pain. Our breath, body, and being are born from Source energy. It flows through us as creative power.

3. "If the full is taken from the full..."

This line points to the paradox of divine abundance: even when something is drawn from the whole—when energy or love or form is given away—nothing is lost. The whole remains whole.

You can give fully of your energy, love, or attention and remain fully resourced. The more you connect to your Soulful Self, the more you realize that energy is infinite when it flows through your authentic being.

4. "...the full alone remains."

After all emergence, separation, and offering, what remains is still fullness. Nothing can divide or deplete the eternal field of wholeness. This is the truth of Unity—there is no outside of God (the Divine), there is no lack in Reality.

The Backside and Frontside of the model are united. All parts of us, seen and unseen, are expressions of one energy. When we live from our core, we experience that nothing can truly be lost. There is no division or separation from Source. We are Source energy.
